When Ermacora was murdered in 1898, Cesar Baudi de Vesme (1862- ) assumed the editorship, soon adding a French version of the journal, Revue des Etudes Psychiques. Both were then merged into the Annales des Sciences Psychiques. This was a very prominent journal of psychical research, with articles by all of the leading workers in the field, including, in December 1899, the first article by Ernesto Bozzano -- on spiritualism and scientific criticism. The journal contained articles on exteriorization of sensibility, hypnotism, "effluviography," premonitions, the astral body, magic, magnetism, the phenomena of spiritualism, occultism, dreams, auto-suggestion, telepathy, Theosophy, etc. Crabtree 1390.
